This bill allows the state government to withhold proceeds from the sales and use tax from municipalities if the municipality refuses to investigate or enforce certain felonies. CPAC supports appropriate efforts to establish law and order within American cities and supported this bill.  The House passed this bill on March 16, 2023 by a vote of 56-13 and the bill later became law.
