This bill requires public schools to notify parents about changes in the mental health and well-being of their children. It also requires that parents be given access to their children’s education records. CPAC supports efforts to improve parental rights in education and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 13, 2023 by a vote of 34-0 and the bill later became law.
