This bill makes it a crime for individuals to, with the intent to conceal an abortion from the parents of an unemancipated minor, procure an abortion or procure drugs necessary for an abortion for a minor. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, supports the rights of parents to direct the upbringing of their child, supports efforts to increase parental rights and place restrictions on the practice of abortion, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 30, 2023 by a vote of 27-7 and the bill later became law.
