This bill prohibits public employees from downloading TikTok onto government devices and from accessing TikTok’s website through government devices. CPAC supports appropriate efforts to further the US’ security interests and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 21, 2023 by a vote of 32-0 and the bill later became law.
