This bill creates a per-kilogram tax credit for taxpayers that use zero-carbon hydrogen. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 26, 2023 by a vote of 103-2 and the bill later became law.
