This bill removes the sunset date on Illinois’ AIM HIGH grant program, the likes of which will subsidize the tuition of select college students. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to pay off other people’s student debts and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 17, 2023 by a vote of 115-0 and the bill later became law.
