This bill makes it a Class A misdemeanor for a person to place an object in the public way with the intent of obstructing a picketing line. CPAC recognizes that this provision is ridiculous and wholly meant to balance the justice system in favor of unions and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 22, 2023 by a vote of 75-33 and the bill later became law.
