This bill requires public investment managers and fiduciaries of the state to “disclose” how they are taking sustainability into account when doing their due diligence and building their investment portfolio. CPAC believes that public fiduciaries should be more concerned about protecting the financial interests of those they represent rather than promoting bogus Left-wing objectives and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 25, 2023 by a vote of 35-19 and the bill later became law.
