Vote Description

This bill requires that all new single-family homes and multifamily residential buildings with designated parking spaces be built with a certain number of EV-friendly charging stations. CPAC opposes measures that increase the skyrocketing costs of housing, supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 29, 2023 by a vote of 39-16 and the bill later became law.
