This bill states that voters may not be sent applications for absentee ballots unless they expressly ask for one. It also requires the elector to provide, when filling out their ballot application, an identification number from their ID. CPAC supports efforts to strengthen election integrity and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on April 11, 2023 by a vote of 64-30 and the bill later became law.
