This bill expands the definition of machine gun to include accessories that convert guns into automatic weapons. This means that the state may now ban auto sears, glock switches, and other such items. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment and opposed this bill. The House passed the bill on April 3, 2023 by a vote of 70-24 and the bill later became law.
