This bill prevents the Department of Corrections from using any state or federal resources to pay for sexual reassignment therapy for prisoners. CPAC opposes using taxpayer funds to pay for grotesque and unethical procedures and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on February 14, 2023 by a vote of 68-24 and the bill later became law.
