This bill strengthens voter registration requirements and list maintenance, clarifies residency standards, improves reporting, regulates recounts and candidate procedures, and modernizes various election administration rules while maintaining eligibility safeguards. CPAC supports cleaner voter rolls, clear rules, and stronger election administration and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on 2025-02-13 by a vote of 87-8. The bill later became law.
