This bill requires that parents be notified by the school if their child requests that different pronouns be used to refer to them. It also prohibits the teaching of sexuality to all children in grades K-3. CPAC supports parental rights in education and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on April 10, 2023 by a vote of 37-12 and the bill later became law.
