This bill makes it such that music therapists, art therapists, and art therapist associates must now receive licenses in order to practice their trade in the state. CPAC opposes the proliferation of complex occupational licensing regimes and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on February 14, 2023 by a vote of 47-2 but the bill was not taken up in the House.
