This bill authorizes the governor to begin the process of placing murals around the state capitol. The bill then specifies that the governor must consult with at least 1 individual from a minority group during this process. CPAC opposes the use of DEI as a means of determining who will be given the opportunity to work with the government and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 28, 2023 by a vote of 33-15 but the bill stalled in the House.
