This bill repeals a multitude of regulations that prevented youths from working. The bill mostly accomplishes this by deleting certain prohibitive schedule requirements fastened upon particular minor age groups. CPAC supports efforts to open up opportunities for youth to work and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on March 6, 2024 by a vote of 62-31 and the bill later became law.
