This bill makes it a crime for a person to coerce a woman to have an abortion. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, opposes the actions of individuals that maliciously abuse women by pushing them to kill their child, and supported this bill. The House overrode Governor Kelly’s veto of this bill on April 29, 2024 by a vote of 85-40 and the bill later became law.
