This bill attempts to establish a flat tax of 5.25% for all individuals in Kansas. CPAC supports efforts to create broad and flat tax cuts and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on January 17, 2024 by a vote of 25-11 but Governor Kelly vetoed the bill.
