This bill prohibits election officials from using funds provided by the federal government to administer elections unless specifically authorized to do so by the Kansas state legislature. CPAC supports efforts to prevent the federal government from inappropriately interfering in state elections and supported this bill. The Senate sustained Governor Kelly’s veto of this bill on April 29, 2024 by a vote of 26-11.
