This bill establishes the healthcare workforce investment fund.  This fund will assist in the provision of scholarships to students taking part in various healthcare programs. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to pay off other people’s higher education expenses and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 8, 2023 by a vote of 92-1 and the bill later became law.
