This bill requires local school boards to develop complaints processes that help parents dispute the inclusion of materials that they consider to be inappropriate in schools. CPAC supports efforts to involve parents in their children’s education and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 23, 2023 by a vote of 29-4 and the bill later became law.
