This bill establishes a loan repayment program for veterinarians serving in rural areas of the state. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay off other people's student debts and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 28, 2024 by a vote of 38-0 and the bill later became law.
