Vote Description

This bill limits the authority of administrative agencies to create regulations with major economic impacts, ensuring unelected officials cannot impose burdensome rules without accountability. It also redefines what constitutes a 'major economic impact' to protect businesses and taxpayers. CPAC supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-03-13 by a vote of 29-6. The House passed this bill on 2025-02-28 by a vote of 75-19. The bill later became law.
