Vote Description
This bill removes the sunset date on the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program, the likes of which provides $10,000 grants to homeowners to fortify their roofs. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for other people's housing and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 26, 2024 by a vote of 87-17 and the bill later became law.
