This bill prohibits election officials from using funds, goods, or services donated by foreign governments to help cover the cost of administering an election. CPAC supports efforts to protect US elections against illegal interference and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 8, 2023 by a vote of 27-12 and the bill later became law.
