Vote Description
This bill prohibits physicians from prescribing hormone replacement therapy to or conducting gender reassignment surgeries on minors. CPAC opposes the castration and mutilation of minors and supported this bill. The Senate overrode Governor Edwards' veto of this bill on July 18, 2023 by a vote of 28-11.
