This bill protects students and employees who decline to announce their pronouns or use other people's "preferred pronouns." CPAC supports efforts to protect First Amendment freedoms, supports efforts to fight the growth of transgender ideology, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 29, 2024 by a vote of 27-9 and the bill later became law.
