This amendment to H 3770 decreases from 8% to 5% the capital gains tax that will be assessed on assets held by an entity for less than one year. CPAC supports appropriate tax relief and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on June 15, 2023 by a vote of 5-32.
