RC 57
Honeycombing the LGBT+ Agenda into Government Documentation Processes.
2023 - Massachusetts Senate
Vote Description

S 2425 allows people to change their gender on certain government documents (i.e. their driver’s license). It also allows them to indicate that they are a gender that is not male or female on these documents. The bill then requires the government to inform youths that this latter option is available to them. It then permits the civil rights division of the attorney general to investigate circumstances in which a person is discriminated against because the gender listed on their government documents. CPAC opposes the gratification and promotion of transgender ideology, recognizes that this type of provision will be used to generate frivolous investigations into conservatives, and opposed S 2425. The Senate passed S 2425 on July 27, 2023 by a vote of 39-0.
