This bill requires the Department of the Environment to adopt regulations establishing requirements for the sale of new zero-emission heavy- and medium-duty vehicles. CPAC opposes green vehicle mandates, the likes of which drive up costs both for manufacturers and consumers, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 3, 2023 by a vote of 98-40 and the bill later became law.
