CPAC recognizes that US governments have already spent trillions dumping welfare on America’s poor communities and have already failed to end poverty in the country. CPAC opposes continuing this irresponsible pattern of spending and, therefore, opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 8, 2024 by a vote of 106-32 and the bill later became law.
