HB 1066
Preparing to Weaponize the Government Against Political Dissidents.
2023 - Maryland Senate
Vote Description

This bill establishes the Maryland Commission on Hate Crime Response and Prevention, an organization that will seek out solutions to reduce so-called “hate crimes.” Many of this organization’s members will be selected from radical Leftist organizations, including the Anti-Defamation League, the Pride Center of Maryland, and FreeState Justice. CPAC opposes the continued entry of radical Leftism into the government’s halls of power and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 10, 2023 by a vote of 40-7 and the bill later became law.
