This bill requires that individuals who are Asian, Black and Latino be included on the Apprenticeship and Training Council. CPAC believes that individuals should be selected to be members of such councils based on their merits and not their race and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 13, 2023 by a vote of 47-0 and the bill later became law.
