This bill requires the Department of Transportation to factor equity into its transportation goals. CPAC recognizes that the usage of equity in decision-making processes leads to sexist and racist practices, opposes racism, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 10, 2023 by a vote of 35-12 and the bill later became law.
