This bill renames the Commission on LGBTQ Affairs to the Commission on LGBTQIA+ Affairs and makes it a priority of the Commission to help gender identities beyond those found in the traditional LGBTQ lexicon. CPAC opposes measures that drive Leftist policies further Left and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 31, 2023 by a vote of 35-12 and the bill later became law.
