This bill prohibits employers from firing or threatening to take adverse action against an employee if that employee has engaged in certain protected activities in the past 90 days. CPAC believes that the government should refrain from micromanaging the relationship between employers and employees and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 4, 2024 by a vote of 34-13 and the bill later became law.
