This bill no longer requires a person to be lawfully present in the United States or to hold a Social Security number in order to receive an EMS license. CPAC opposes measures that incentivize illegal immigration and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 29, 2024 by a vote of 34-10 and the bill later became law.
