Vote Description
This bill requires the governor to apportion $1,000,000 to the SHINE Grantmaking Initiative to subsidize arts and culture-related nonprofits. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to fund these initiatives and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 20, 2024 by a vote of 44-0 and the bill later became law.
