This bill appropriates funds to abortion clinics to help them pay certain security-related expenses. CPAC recognizes that money is fungible, further recognizes that any amount of funding to abortion clinics is essentially further funding for abortions, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 8, 2024 by a vote of 33-12 and the bill later became law.
