This bill expands the list of people who qualify to receive an absentee ballot and removes various provisions in existing law that would normally disqualify a voter from receiving such a ballot. CPAC opposes measures that weaken election integrity and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 23, 2023 by a vote of 73-55 and the bill later became law.
