This bill prevents the state from cooperating in any way with federal or state authorities investigating a person for their participation in legally protected healthcare activity such as abortion or radical gender surgeries. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, opposes radical gender surgeries, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 12, 2024 by a vote of 21-13 and the bill later became law.
