This bill requires contractors to pay the prevailing wage to workers on certain projects. CPAC recognizes that the payment of the prevailing wage vastly increases the costs of government-funded projects and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 21, 2023 by a vote of 20-16 and the bill later became law.
