This bill repeals a provision that prohibited the government from collecting union dues from public school employees. CPAC believes that the government should not perform functions for unions that could otherwise be performed by the unions and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 28, 2023 by a vote of 21-16 and the bill later became law.
