This bill increases the list of topics that may be discussed during the collective bargaining process between teachers unions and employers. For example, it allows people to unions to bargain over disciplinary policies and teacher evaluation systems. CPAC opposes measures that significantly increase the power of unions and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 28, 2023 by a vote of 20-17 and the bill later became law.
