This bill supports a long time labor union featherbedding mandate to require a minimum of a two-person crew size whether it is needed or not. CPAC opposes these government mandates that should be left to the company to decide and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on December 4, 2024, by a vote of 20-16, but the bill was not taken up in the House.
