Vote Description
This bill allows certain localities to use ranked choice voting methods in certain elections. Ranked choice voting is a method of voting in which the person who places second in an election can win the election by receiving the votes from other losing candidates. CPAC opposes ranked choice voting and opposed this bill. The House failed to pass this bill on May 19, 2024 by a vote of 66-62.
