This bill prohibits tree trimmers and restoration services providers from raising their prices to an “unconscionable” level after what the government dubs a “severe thunderstorm.” CPAC opposes price controls and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 11, 2024 by a vote of 89-40 but the bill never became law.
