The Petersburg amendment to SF 3492 protects landlords from claims that they violated housing discrimination provisions if meeting the terms and conditions of rental subsidies or housing voucher programs would impose an undue financial burden on the property owners. CPAC supports efforts to protect property rights and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on April 18, 2024 by a vote of 61-68.
