This bill appropriates $50,000,000 to the Housing Finance Agency such that it can give qualified families up to 24 months of rental assistance. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for other people’s rent and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 27, 2023 by a vote of 42-21 and the bill later became law.
